Gorgeous burgers, Marla. We have been able to get grass-fed
bison from Ole's work, and it's been great trying it out in old
recipes and making new ones.

Megan: Bison has a much richer flavor than beef & that is why I love it. Also much leaner. Wish I had a butcher here that I loved though.

I need to give bison a try again! We have a great meat
market here so it's easily available but it's been a long time
since I bought any. I must change that and try this burger. I'm
always game for a burger! ;)

I recognized that view of Telluride instantly, although I haven't been there in years. So gorgeous and I love this recipe. Not sure if I can get bison meat anywhere in my area, though!

Alison: Bison is so lean & has more flavor than typical ground beef. It is also raised with much more sustainable efforts. I believe it has more iron than typical beef, so that is great for women - especially active ones like us!
