Blueberry Peachy Lemon Smoothies are some kinda fabulous as they are chock filled with fruit. Sweet blueberry with tangy citrus & perfect peach come together like a sweet symphony of flavors.

Blueberry Peachy Lemon Smoothies

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 11 minutes

Yield: 16 ounces (1 or 2 smoothies)

Blueberry Peachy Lemon Smoothies

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Stewed Peaches
  • 1/2 cup frozen Blueberries (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened Almond Milk
  • handful of Ice
  • Stevia, Honey, Agave or Maple Syrup to taste
  • Fresh Mint for garnish

Method

    Stewed Peaches
  • Take a few peaches. Cut them into pieces and place in a saucepan with a few tablespoons of water. Bring to a boil then simmer. Mash them against the side of the pan to release juices. Simmer about 6 minutes. Let the peaches chill in the fridge.
  • Smoothies
  • Blend all ingredients together. Sweeten to taste if needed. Garnish with mint and frozen blueberries.

We’re always up for a good smoothie Marla – sounds fantastic! I’ve never used stewed peaches in smoothy, only fresh but I bet it adds extra sweetness and flavor.

Yummy! Great recipe.
I will give you a site in USA where I got real fruit on powder form, I mix it with milk and ice cream to go healthy. they have berries, mango, soursop, apple, pineapple, etc. A lot of fruits & veggies. Enjoy guys! http://www.freshlydried.com
